Privacy Policy

We keep as little as we can: enough to run your account, count usage and bill paid plans. We don't sell your data or show ads.
What we collect
- Account: your email, name (if you give one) and a hashed password. We never store your password itself.
- API keys you create, and how many requests each key and your account make per endpoint each month, so we can apply plan limits and bill usage.
- Browsing on inferaweb.com: a daily request count, keyed by your account if you're signed in, or otherwise by a one-way hash of your IP address. We don't keep your IP address itself.
- Searches and pages: we process the queries and URLs you send to return results. We don't build a profile from them or tie them to you beyond the usage counts above. Public web pages we read may be cached for a few days to make repeat requests faster.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your subscription status, never your card details.
- Basic logs (errors, timings) to keep the service running, kept for a short time.
Why we use it
- To provide the service, sign you in, and reset your password when you ask.
- To enforce plan limits, prevent abuse and bill paid usage.
- To fix problems and improve reliability.
Who helps us run InferaWeb
- Cloudflare hosts the website, API and database.
- Stripe processes payments and invoices for paid plans.
- Resend sends account emails, such as password resets.
They process data only to provide their service to us. To answer searches, InferaWeb sends your query text to public search engines and fetches the public pages you ask for. Your account details are never sent to them.
Cookies and storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember small preferences like light or dark mode. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Your choices
- Delete API keys any time from your account page.
- Cancel a paid plan from Manage billing on your account page.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, or to delete your account and its data, by emailing support@inferaweb.com. We keep billing records as long as the law requires.
Security
Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to production systems is limited. No system is perfect, so please use a unique password.
Children
InferaWeb isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and email account holders about significant changes.
